Model Q32 Liquid Level Gauge

Model Q32 is an industry standard design for general monitoring of liquid levels industrial processes and tanks for high pressure applications. These incorporate bracing cross members that prevent bulging of liquid chambers, and enable higher pressures to be attained. Unlike our proprietary sidewall sealed designs, these seal on the face of the glass with a gasket like other common level gauge designs.

These units are exactly equivalent to products from other manufacturers, and can be substituted in existing installations. Substitutions for transparent gauge types are shown below. For reflex gauges, "T" is replaced by "R" in the designations.

Standard construction includes a solid one-piece chamber machined from bar, forged steel covers, tempered glass, alloy steel bolts and nuts. Recessed gasket seats prevent gasket movement. Model Q32 gauges are available in a variety of materials to meet specific corrosive conditions. In particular, since the only wetted metal part is the liquid chamber body, specifying 316 stainless steel for the body is a popular and cost effective avenue for better corrosion resistance. All standard chamber materials (carbon and stainless steels) are NACE MR-01-75 acceptable materials. Non-frost extensions, illuminators, support brackets, Kel-F shields, mica shields and special alloys are available. Detailed dimension, pressure, and temperature ratings are available here.
